CEAWA is the peak body in Western Australia for career development which includes career education, vocational education and training (VET) and enterprise education. CEAWA draws its membership from primary, secondary and tertiary education sectors as well as employment groups and private providers.

Mission / Aims

The mission of the CEAWA is to:

Encourage communication between members interested in promoting and developing Career Education.
Provide a forum for dialogue with other organisations concerned with Career Education.
Respond to Career Education policy initiatives and implementation.
Encourage the development and dissemination of Career Education material.
Support lectures, seminars, discussion groups, workshops and conferences related to Career Education.
Encourage research in Career Education and associated issues.
Promote community awareness of the aims of the Association and encourage participation by community members and groups in achieving these aims.
Ascertain and act upon the needs of Association members.

Principal activities

To provide support to members on all issues relating to career development.
