Our mission statement is:

To promote and support a training and development culture in New Zealand.

Our objectives are:

To foster the development of professional competence and high standards of performance of members.

To promote understanding of the training and development function and its contribution to the performance of individuals and organisations.

To advance the recognition of the association as the authoritative organisation in New Zealand, on all matters involving or affecting the training and development of people.
