Description

The Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) is Australia’s leading Association of natural medicine practitioners. With over 11,100 financial members, ATMS represents about 65% of all natural medicine practitioners in Australia.
Practitioners represented by ATMS include massage therapists, acupuncturists, clinical hypnotherapists, counsellors, herbalists, homeopaths, kinesiologists, naturopaths and nutritionists. ATMS members are encouraged to pursue the highest ideals of professionalism in their natural medicine education and practice.
ATMS members benefit from a high level of professional support provided by an Executive Board of Directors; various Committees appointed by the Board; appointed modality specialists; State and Territory Representatives; and paid Administrative staff, currently consisting of 9 full-time and 3 part-time staff.
All ATMS members must abide by the ATMS Code of Conduct and official ATMS Policies. Concerns about the professional conduct of an ATMS member may be made to the ATMS Complaints Committee.
