Description

Established in 1953, the MTAA is one of the oldest massage therapist associations in Canada and is one of the founding members of the National body, the Canadian Massage Therapy Alliance (CMTA). On a National level, the CMTA assists with facilitation of public health and wellness through the Canadian Massage Therapy Research Network and is working in conjunction with Health Canada to complete a Health Professions Sector Study. On a Provincial level, all chapters of the CMTA are working towards unity amongst the Provinces for similar competency standards for membership within their respective organizations.
