Mission / Aims

The MDPPA will strive to:

Advance photography in all its branches, as both an art and a profession.

To insist on high ethical standards in Association members' dealings with their clientele and with each other, consistent with the highest professional code of conduct.

To project a professional image of photography to the public and maintain a program of conduct with the photographic consumers, including education and publicity, displays and exhibits, and respectable business relations with clientele.

To elevate the caliber of photography achieved by the Association's members, through ongoing educational programs that include print competitions and critiques, seminars and workshops, and presentations featuring professionally respected guest speakers.
