Description

The American Accounting Association promotes worldwide excellence in accounting education, research and practice. Founded in 1916 as the American Association of University Instructors in Accounting, its present name was adopted in 1936. The Association is a voluntary organization of persons interested in accounting education and research.

Principal activities

AAA meetings are held throughout the year across the United States. Members and non-members from around the world are welcome to attend our section and region meetings.

Training / Licensing / Certification

The AAA is NASBA certified and offers courses that earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit at all of our section, region, and Annual Meetings.
