Investment Management Association (IMA)

Description

The IMA is the trade body for the UK's £300 billion asset management industry. The money our members manage is in a wide variety of investment vehicles including authorised investment funds, pension funds and stocks and shares ISAs. Our role is to represent the industry and promote high standards.

Mission / Aims

To foster the good reputation of the industry and to promote a legal, tax and regulatory environment which is appropriate for the needs of asset mangers and their customers.

Principal activities

The Association works with Government, regulators and other policy makers in the UK and across Europe. It also provides a centre for knowledge and understanding of investment management.
