Audiologists in Australia are represented professionally by the Audiological Society of Australia Inc (ASA). ASA was founded in 1968 and has a current membership in excess of 1600 member audiologists. ASA Full Membership requires evidence of a Masters of Audiology degree (or equivalent) with a major in Audiology. ASA members have agreed to practise audiology in accordance with the ASA Code of Ethics and Professional Standards of Practice.
