Description
Informing…Representing…Serving…the public and the dental profession in Ohio, the Ohio Dental Association represents more than 5,500 dentists statewide. We help Ohio dentists as they help improve the oral health of all Ohioans.
Dedicated to oral health, the ODA represents the interests of Ohio dentists and their patients on legislative, regulatory, and third party payer issues. A not-for-profit association, the ODA is a leader in providing professional information and education to dentists and the dental team.
The ODA is the state's only complete resource of dental health and practice information for members and the media. The ODA does not handle consumer dental complaints or licensure of dentists; such actions are under the jurisdiction of the Ohio State Dental Board.
Membership in the ODA is a tripartite, meaning that members belong to their local component society, the ODA, and the American Dental Association. The ODA is a constituent society of the American Dental Association.
