Mission / Aims

Bacpar aims to to promote best practise through evidence and education in the field of amputee and prosthetic rehabilitation for the benefit of patients and the profession. We are committed to research and education, providing a network for the dissemination of best practise in pursuit of excellence and equity whilst maintaining cost effectiveness.

Principal activities

Running national and local study days, providing peer support.

Providing a resource for clients and other stakeholders as well as representing clients views and needs to various working groups, as well as Improving amputee care.

Production of CSP endorsed and internationally recognised evidenced based clinical guidelines.

Training / Licensing / Certification

Accredited MSC modules at Bradford university, leading to a Post Graduate Certificate in amputee Rehabiliation.
