Organization of teachers of French in the North Texas area. We are one of many chapters affiliated with the national American Association of Teachers of French.

Mission / Aims

Advancement and promotion of the study of the French language, literature, and culture.

Principal activities

Providing programs to enhance the teaching of French and to provide support to teachers; creating and encouraging enrichment activities to enhance students' experience with the French language.

Training / Licensing / Certification

Linguistic and cultural programs at our fall and spring meetings. No licensing or certification, but teachers can often get credit for professional development hours by participating in our activities, depending on their school districts' policies.
