Mission / Aims
AATG is dedicated to the advancement and improvement of the teacher of the language, literatures, and cultures of the German-speaking countries.
Principal activities
Two journals; a quarterly newsletter; professional development consultant directory; chapter activities; summer seminars; online Masters degree;Young Leaders Program; Endowment for Study Abroad; student programs: national German exam and awards, summer study in Germany, German junior and senior honor societies; job listserve; discussion listserve; materials center; advocacy for the study of German; credit card and insurance programs, among others.
