The main aims of the JTAN are to provide a place of mutual support and professional development for teachers of Japanese.

Principal activities

Providing inservices and workshops to teachers and students of Japanese in NSW.

Publishing examination kits for senior levels.

Providing a website and newsletter for member communication and sharing teaching resources and ideas.

Training / Licensing / Certification

Programming and assessment techniques.

Language classroom methodologies and practical activities.

Receiving a Certificate of Participation to an inservice/workshop.

Students receive mock tests and examination skills.
