Mission / Aims

HATI's objectives are to promote and maintain high standards of professional translation and interpreting and to safeguard the interests of practitioners and their clients as well as to provide opportunities for practitioners to get together and develop their skills and knowledge.

Principal activities

To further its objectives, HATI is willing to undertake any relevant lawful activity such as: organisation of meetings, lectures, seminars, workshops; formation of standardisation committees, publication of printed material and arrangement of professional examinations for new translators/interpreters working with Greek.

Training / Licensing / Certification

HATI organises occasional seminars for the CPD of its members and intends to set up its own certification programme soon.
