ANATS is the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing Incorporated, a professional association dedicated to serving all those who teach singing in Australia.

It offers the opportunity to upgrade the standard of your teaching, easy access to a wide range of resources to assist your teaching, offers you the opportunity to contribute to the advancement and direction of singing teaching in Australia.
ANATS offers help, support, friendship and mutually beneficial exchange between singing teachers throughout Australia, publishes The Voice of newsletter (three times a year) and an annual journal Australian Voice, sharing scholarly articles and research topics.
ANATS offers members the opportunity to share experiences and ideas in The Voice of and to publish refereed academic articles in Australian Voice.
ANATS offers members voluntary listing on the website and in the teachers directory.

Mission / Aims

ANATS was established to encourage the highest standards in the art of both singing and the teaching of singing.
ANATS promotes vocal education and research in all genres and at all levels, both for the enrichment of the general public and for the professional development, advancement and interest of both singers and teachers.

Principal activities

ANATS maintains a register of teachers of singing who qualify for membership under the terms of the association's constitution.
ANATS presents workshops, conferences and other forums for members to meet together regularly on a national, state, territory and/or regional basis, to exchange ideas and information in the many fields of singing, voice science and pedagogy.
ANATS communicates with members through its regularly website, its tri-annual newsletter The Voice of ANATS, its annual journal Australian Voice, and other chapter-based newsletters.
ANATS maintains national and international affiliations with equivalent and related organisations.
ANATS provides bursaires, internships and other awards to encourage teachers of singing to achieve excellence in their profession.
