The PSNZ is a not-for-profit charitable organisation founded in 1947 in recognition of the special health and developmental needs of children.

Member benefits

The ability to translate your local or professional concerns about children and young people into an effective united strategy. Input into national strategies and policies for healthcare for children and young people. An avenue for multidisciplinary discussion and education. Opportunities to share ideas, research and issues at the Annual Scientific Meetings. A travelling scholarship to assist eligible members to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Mission / Aims

The Paediatric Society of New Zealand believes all children and young people have the right to attain optimal physical, mental and social health and well being. By working as a co-ordinated national network of health professionals the Society dedicates its efforts and resources to this end.

Principal activities

PSNZ is committed to improving the health of children and young people. As a multi-disciplinary Society we are able to develop and influence pathways for improvement.
