Description

The New Mexico Counseling Association (NMCA), founded in 1956, is a state branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA). It is the only state association in New Mexico with a National affiliation that represents professional counselors. NMCA encompasses a broad spectrum of groups in the field of professional counseling and provides an opportunity for sharing and professional growth.

Division Membership
Serves a coordinating role for five divisions: New Mexico School Counselors Association (NMSCA), New Mexico Mental Health Counselors Association (NMHCA), New Mexico Career Development Association (NMCDA), New Mexico Association of Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling (NMASERVIC) and New Mexico Advocates for Social Justice (NMASJ).
