Description

The North Carolina Psychological Association is a professional organization designed to serve the interests of psychologists in North Carolina. NCPA advocates for psychology as a science, a profession, and a means of promoting human welfare. It provides an organized voice for psychologists and promotes high standards for the profession. The interests of independent professional practice psychologists are aided by the NCPA Division of Independent Professional Practice. NCPA is the North Carolina affiliate of the American Psychological Association.
NCPA members work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, community mental health, private practice, colleges and universities, public schools, corrections, and research facilities.
